German Pyramid - 3 Tier Nativity

The large Christmas pyramid with the scene of the birth of Christ is one of the most elaborate pieces in our entire range. On three floors you can find the Holy Family, the three orphans and the shepherd with his animals. All figures and animals are hand-painted. With its unusual shape, it is definitely the eye-catcher of the entire Christmas decoration and a great gift idea! A pyramid like this often accompanies the recipient for a lifetime.

The pyramid can be used with both tea lights and normal pyramid candles. The turned tea light holders can be flexibly attached and removed again. We use standard tea lights with a diameter of 38 mm. Four tea lights are already included in the delivery. The impeller, which is connected to the base plate via a metal rod, is powered by the rising heat of the candles.

Christmas pyramids were already part of the Christmas decorations in churches in the Ore Mountains in the 18th century. The special design of the Göpelwerk served as a model. This is the name given to shaft conveyor systems in which the mined ore is extracted from the pit using horse or water power. Even today, the pyramids of the Ore Mountains (Ore Mountains: "Peremett") create a cozy atmosphere with their warm candlelight and their uniform movement. And they still fascinate children in particular with their small figures and colorful scenes.

Below we would like to give you some information and tips on how to use them:

- Make sure that the glass bearing is always clean. During transport and storage, the glass bearing must be relieved with the piece of cardboard provided. You can lubricate the glass bearing with a drop of oil before the Christmas season.
- To prevent the axle from bending, please always store the pyramid upright. It must be stored in a frost-free and dry place so that the wood does not warp.
- You can clean your pyramid with a soft brush. Please do not use water or other cleaning agents.
- Please place the pyramid on a perfectly horizontal and solid surface. Check that the movable middle section runs freely and easily. The room should be free of drafts.
- Warning! You should never leave the pyramid unattended while it is in use! There should be no flammable objects in the immediate vicinity.

We make the entire pyramid out of sycamore maple. The colors used contain particularly high-quality and lightfast pigments, which guarantee lasting brilliance and luminosity. They are certified according to the strict DIN EN71 guidelines for toys, and are naturally non-toxic and saliva-resistant.
